The 4th AASCO workshop (Arena for the Gap Analysis of Existing Arctic Science Co-Operations) is taking place at the Oceanographic Institute / Prince Albert I Foundation in Monaco on February 4-5, 2025. Organized by the University of Helsinki and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, in cooperation with the University of the Arctic, the workshop was officially opened on February 4 by HSH Prince Albert of Monaco.
The event is dedicated to analyzing research gaps in existing scientific cooperation and fostering new collaborations in preparation for the 5th International Polar Year (2032-33). Bringing together leading researchers and experts in Arctic studies and observations, the workshop aims to enhance collaboration, strengthen networks, and drive coordinated efforts to address the pressing environmental challenges facing the Arctic.
