    Survey of Living Conditions in the Arctic (SLiCA)

    The Survey of Living Conditions in the Arctic, or SLiCA, was an international joint effort of researchers and indigenous peoples in Northern Alaska, Chukotka, and Greenland to measure and understand living conditions in the Arctic. Surveys of indigenous people were carried out between 2001 and 2006, with ISER researchers conducting interviews in Northern Alaska.

  • Virtual Learning Tools (VLT)
    Virtual Learning Tools (VLT)

    VLT is a online school system for long distance students.

    ”Arctic Virtual Learning Tools” project joins together the University of Arctic and its various strategic areas, Arctic Portal, the Association of Polar Early Career Scientists (APECS) and the International Centre for Reindeer Husbandry (ICR).

    The World Ocean Council (WOC) is a global, cross-sectoral ocean industry leadership alliance committed to “Corporate Ocean Responsibility”, developed by and for the private sector, with a unique and multi-sectoral approach to address cross-cutting issues affecting ocean sustainable development, science and stewardship of the seas.
